Last weekend we went to Duchesne to hang out with Jeffs family. We had such a good time golfing, hiking and BBQ ing! The highlight of our trip was as we were driving up we got a phone call (the only time we had service) at about price from our neighbor. (We don't really know our neighbors, all that we know about them is that we have a mutual friend). He asked if we were okay and then told me the police wanted to talk to me. Apparently our neighbor got a new gun and was showing it to his friend and it accidentally went off and through the wall through our living room! The cops, search and rescue and fire dpt were about to break down our door b/c nobody was answering and they were worried we were dead inside! This first picture is of the first hole in the wall. (Jeff was bummed that it didn't hit our tv)!
This pix is looking from the first bullet hole to the second hole. (inbetween the door and stair rail) As you can see, this is probably the best shot possible. It missed our couch, chair, bike and stairs! We were sure lucky (as well as the guy who shot it)!
This is the final destination before it hit a stud in the wall! We were so lucky that the neighbors were able to get a hold of us before they broke our door down!! What a good weekend to leave town and visit the family!!

When Sam told me what happened, I could not believe it. I am so glad you guys were out of town that weekend. So crazy! Thanks for being such great renters!
